Your Trustees
The Plan is managed by the Trustee Board. All the Trustees have to act in the best interests of all Plan members and in line with the Plan’s Trust Deed and Rules.
To help in the running of the Plan, our Trustees sit on at least one of three Sub-Committees. This overview of the role explains the responsibilities and duties the Trustees perform.
As part of their governance of the Plan, the Trustees attend regular meetings and maintain a register of interests to ensure impartiality in our decision making.

Announcement
Unfortunately, I have to update you with the very sad news that our fellow Trustee Director, Tony Kilshaw, passed away on Friday 29 March 2024. Tony was first elected by Plan members as a Trustee Director to the Eaton UK Retirement Benefits Plan in 2008 and was a representative of that Plan when it merged with the Eaton Pension Plan.
Tony continued as an initial Trustee of the Eaton UK Pension Plan until the end of 2017. He was then re-elected as a pensioner member-nominated Director on 1 January 2022 and continued to contribute to Trustee meetings despite his recent ill health.
Tony worked at Eaton for over 40 years at the Warrington, Aycliffe, Manchester and Middleton facilities before his retirement. Tony was married with three children and four grandchildren and enjoyed swimming and caravanning in North Wales. His passion, dedication and enthusiasm will be sorely missed by the Trustee Directors. Our thoughts are with his family and many friends.
